Course Overview

The BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care course is designed for future professionals in health and social care who are ready to address the challenges in the sector. Students will develop the knowledge and skills required to thrive in health and social care roles, learning about current policies, practices, and the importance of effective communication. The course includes work experience, providing students with a practical understanding of the sector and ensuring employability after graduation.

Entry Requirements

To be admitted to the BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care programme, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Typical UCAS offer: 96 points
  • A Level: BBE, CCC
  • BTEC: MMM
  • 112 points Access Awards (60 credits, with 45 at Level 3)
  • For students whose first language is not English, an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent is required.
