Course Overview

The BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care Management with Foundation Year course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the leadership and management skills necessary for the effective delivery of services in health and social care. The course is designed to develop reflective practitioners who can critically analyse, communicate effectively, and engage with changes in health and social care both nationally and locally.

Entry Requirements

To be admitted to the BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care Management with Foundation Year programme, students must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of 90 credits from a Level 3 qualification such as A Levels or BTECs, or
  • Mature learners (aged 21+) may be admitted based on relevant work, voluntary, or life experience. They must complete an interview and provide a Personal Statement (500 words), an English Language Test (minimum 60% score, equivalent to IELTS 5.5), a Maths Test (score 50%), and a completed APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning).
