The BSc (Hons) Computing with Foundation Year offers a comprehensive introduction to computing and IT. The course is built around three core themes: Technology, Software, and Data, which are embedded throughout the programme and form the foundation for all computing and IT roles. You will gain a solid grounding in key topics such as data, cyber security, networking, business information systems, and more, preparing you for a successful career in the computing industry.
Applicants must be aged 18+ and have a Level 3 qualification (equivalent to either 60 credits or 80 UCAS tariff points).
English qualification: GCSE grade 4/C or CEFR B1. If you do not have this qualification, you can take an English test provided at a GBS campus.
We welcome applications from students aged 21+ who may not meet the standard entry requirements but can demonstrate academic, professional, or vocational experience in a related field.
