Course Overview

The Certificate of Higher Education in Health and Social Care provides a broad introduction to the contemporary health and social care sector. Students will develop an understanding of key theories, practices, and the political, social, and legal frameworks that influence the field. This course equips students with the essential knowledge and skills for working in health and social care and prepares them for higher study or employment in the sector.

Entry Requirements

Standard Entry: 5 passes at GCSE or NARIC confirmed equivalent. Students whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate CEFR Level B2 proficiency.

Non-Standard Entry: Applicants with relevant work experience or other qualifications may also be considered. These applicants will be assessed via interview, supporting references, and a pre-qualifying test to assess English proficiency.
