Course Overview

The BA (Hons) Business Studies (Top-up) is designed to help students transition from a Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent to a full bachelor’s degree. This course equips students with the analytical skills required for success in various business roles, covering strategic management, business sustainability, and innovation. It’s developed in collaboration with professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Chartered Management Institute, ensuring that students are equipped with the skills employers value.

Entry Requirements

Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:

A Higher National Diploma (HND) in a relevant subject, or
EduQual Diploma in a relevant subject (SCQF Level 8), or
A Diploma of Higher Education, or
A Foundation Degree, or
Any level 5 qualification with 240 credits from the UK, with an overall score of ‘Merit’ (if the qualification is an overall ‘Pass’, at least one year of work experience is required).

Applicants without the above qualifications but possessing relevant work experience will be considered on an individual basis.
